Mission Thrift Shop – Supporting Calexico Neighborhood

Calexico Neighborhood House, a private 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, has been operating continuously as a community center and social services agency since founded in 1938. Neighborhood House was established as a settlement house to assist and work with residents in the border community. Neighborhood House provides a comprehensive array of direct services, such as, preschool services, early literacy, shelter for homeless women and children, micro-business support, thrift store, volunteer services, meals for children, and diapers for low-income families.

The purpose of Calexico Neighborhood House is to bring and creating resources to meet the needs of low-income families, focusing on the needs of women, children, and youth.

Working in partnership with the community, Calexico Neighborhood House provides direct services to a vast number of individuals. We Would like to express our sincere gratitude to the individuals, organizations agencies, and our collaborative partners who make all these services possible.
